Pertinent Law LLP seeks a capable lawyer to provide legal advice and support to business units on corporate, commercial and contract matters in Singapore. You will work closely with internal teams to draft, review and negotiate contracts, while ensuring compliance and risk management across the business.

Competenze

• Qualified lawyer with 4–7 years PQE in corporate, commercial and contract law.
• Experience drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalising commercial agreements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and business-minded approach.
• Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple matters.

About the role

Provide legal advice and support to business units on a broad range of legal, contractual, corporate and commercial matters, including contract review, drafting, negotiation and general legal advisory.

Key responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and support to business units on a broad range of legal, contractual, corporate and commercial matters, including contract review, drafting, negotiation and general legal advisory

• Support commercial and contract management activities, including the review and management of contractual obligations, risks and claims

• Support the establishment, restructuring and closure or liquidation of subsidiaries, associates, branches and other corporate entities

• Coordinate with external legal counsel and consultants and oversee the progress and delivery of their work

• Coordinate with and advise business units and internal departments on legal, contractual and commercial matters

• Identify and assess legal and commercial risks and provide practical, business-oriented solutions

• Assist with corporate governance, compliance and other general legal matters

About you

• Degree in Law

• 4–7 years of post-qualification experience, with broad experience in corporate, commercial and contract law

• Significant experience in drafting, reviewing, negotiating and finalising a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team

• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Proactive, commercially minded and able to provide practical legal advice

• High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple matters and competing priorities

• Willingness to travel when required
