Job summary

WGT EHR PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to provide legal and commercial support across the Group's operations, with a focus on construction law and EPC contracts. You will draft, review and negotiate contracts, and advise on legal and contractual issues for multiple business units.

The role requires 8 years PQE in law, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate with external counsel. Occasional travel may be required. Location: West Singapore.

Qualifications

• Degree in Law with PQE (8 years)
• Strong knowledge of construction law and EPC contracts

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Legal Counsel to provide legal and commercial support across the Group's business operations and projects. This role will suit a legal professional with strong experience in construction law, EPC contracts, contract negotiation and commercial advisory, who is comfortable working closely with business stakeholders and external legal counsel.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice on corporate, commercial and contractual matters, including contract drafting, review and negotiation.
• Review, negotiate and finalise construction and EPC contracts, and support project-related commercial, contractual and claims matters.
• Advise business units and internal stakeholders on legal and contractual issues.
• Support the establishment, restructuring and closure of subsidiaries, branches and project offices.
• Liaise with and manage external legal counsel and consultants.

Requirements:

• Degree in Law with 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
• Strong knowledge of construction law, with significant experience negotiating and finalising construction/EPC contracts.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
• Willing to travel when required.
