Job summary

Princeton Digital Group (Singapore) SG1 Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced in-house Legal Counsel to serve as a key advisor to the business across the region. You will provide comprehensive legal guidance, manage risks, and support business development with contract drafting, reviews, and negotiations.

The role requires strong private practice or in-house experience, a growth mindset, and the ability to collaborate across borders.

Qualifications

• At least five years of legal experience gained from private practice and/ or in-house.
• Growth mindset and is interested in both the technical and commercial aspects of in-house legal practice.
• Ability to work independently, with others as part of a team, and across geographic boundaries.

Responsibilities

• Be a crucial member of the legal department and the go-to advisor for the business team
• Provide legal advice and support to all divisions in the Region to achieve business objectives
• Highlight and manage legal risks and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Provide practical, risk-weighted legal guidance on a wide range of legal matters
• Provide legal support for business development initiatives in the region
• Draft, review and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including agreements, procurement contracts and leases
• Help implement and enforce document review and approval process for documents such as customer and supplier contracts, as well as training the business on how best to utilize legal resources
• Keep abreast of and advise on compliance requirements and issues, and help implement policies and procedures for the group’s operations
• Help with management of corporate secretarial function
• Design and facilitate legal and compliance related training to employees

Qualifications & Experience:

• At least five years of legal experience gained from private practice and/ or in-house
• Previous in-house experience working in a multinational company is preferred
• Growth mindset and is interested in both the technical and commercial aspects of in-house legal practice
• Ability to work independently, with others as part of a team, and across geographic boundaries
