Job description

Our client is an established organisation in Singapore seeking an experienced legal professional to join its in-house legal team. This position offers the opportunity to undertake a broad spectrum of legal, regulatory and corporate governance matters while partnering closely with senior management and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the senior legal leadership, the successful candidate will provide commercially sound legal advice across a diverse range of corporate, commercial, regulatory and contentious matters. The role encompasses contract negotiation and review, compliance advisory, dispute management, risk mitigation and corporate governance. The incumbent will also support board and company secretarial matters, oversee assigned legal projects and provide guidance to junior team members while working closely with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is a Singapore-qualified lawyer with approximately 3 to 6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably gained across both private practice and in-house environments. Strong corporate and commercial legal expertise, coupled with exposure to litigation, regulatory compliance and company secretarial matters, would be advantageous. Candidates should demonstrate sound legal judgment, strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver pragmatic solutions in a collaborative environment.
