Job summary

The Singapore Institute of Management invites an experienced instructional designer to lead needs analyses, design blended curricula, and develop AI-enhanced content for adult learners. You will collaborate with stakeholders across SIM to create effective learning experiences that bridge theory and workplace application.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in education, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in instructional design methodologies, curriculum development, and adult learning.
• Strong understanding of learning and performance needs analysis methodologies.
• Proficiency in designing user-centred blended curriculum and instructional strategies.
• Experience in developing assessments and utilizing formative and summative evaluation techniques.
• Familiarity with Generative AI tools for content creation and enhancement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Certification in ACTA/ACLP is required.
• Certification in DACE/DDDLP preferred.
• Ability to work in an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with intended learners and key stakeholders to conduct learning and performance needs analyses.
• Develop user-centred, blended curriculum aligned with authentic learning needs.
• Design future-oriented instructional strategies with innovative learning methodologies.
• Develop user-centric learning resources including multimedia elements and interactive modules.
• Design and develop assessments to measure learning outcomes and effectiveness.
• Adopt a reflexive disposition for continuous professional development.
• Utilize Generative AI tools to create/enhance curriculum and content development.
• Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in instructional design.
