Gain City Group of Companies is seeking an L&D professional to design and deliver funded and non-funded programmes for BE and Retail sectors. You will oversee learners, trainers, and administration, liaise with SWDA on grants, and coordinate events and learning journeys onsite.
You will manage training records, grant administration, and accreditation activities while contributing to competency development across the group and broader training landscape.
You will be an integral member of the Learning and Development (L&D) Department. Working closely with internal and external stakeholders, you will design and deliver selected funded and non-funded programmes, manage learners and adult educators, and oversee L&D administration. This includes liaising with Skills and Workforce Development Agency (SWDA) on course administration and grants, organising events, seminars, workshops and learning journeys, managing logistics, and providing onsite support when required. In this role, you will develop a diverse skill set while contributing to competency development across the Gain City Group of Companies and the broader training landscape in the Built Environment (BE) and Retail sectors.
Design and develop industry-relevant funded and non-funded programmes, either independently or with partners, for the BE and Retail sectors.
Oversee the full spectrum of training operations including learner enrolment, trainer management, learners' and trainers' database management, and conducting post-course evaluation.
Conduct selected funded and non-funded programmes using a variety of instructional methods for in-house and open enrolment learners.
Host and facilitate virtual and in-person events, seminars, webinars, workshops, and learning journeys, including managing logistics and providing onsite support when required.
Ensure timely submission of training documents from various internal departments, as well as learners from open-enrolment programmes.
Maintain, track, and update training records of employees from Gain City Group of Companies.
Handle grant administration for SWDA funded programmes, including submitting grant documents, processing claims for in-house training programmes, and tracking grant disbursement for open enrolment programmes.
Minimum Bachelor's degree (in any field).
WSQ ACTA/ACLP certification is mandatory.
DACE/DDDLP certification will be an advantage.
Minimum 3 years' experience in adult education or training delivery, preferably with operational or frontline workers.
Experience in RTP/PEI strongly preferred.
Experience in running licencing, certification, and accreditation programmes is preferred.
Subject matter expertise in either: Customer Service Experience, Workplace Safety and Health, or Air-Conditioning and Mechanical Ventilation (ACMV).
Keen interest and/or expertise to develop courses for learners in: Built Environment Sector, Retail Sector, ACMV, Digital Workplaces, or Sustainability.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Ability to develop and deliver training programmes using a variety of instructional methods.
Proficiency in Training Management System and Learning Management System is an advantage.
