Qualifications

• Degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Public Policy, or related fields.
• 1–3 years of experience in community engagement, programme coordination, or leadership development.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
• Detail‑oriented with good organizational and time management skills.
• Passionate about developing emerging leaders and advancing the Labour Movement’s mission.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate committee meetings, leadership development workshops, and networking events.
• Identify high-potential individuals and guide their progression into leadership pathways.
• Maintain records of participation, feedback, and outcomes to inform future programming.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to align committee goals with union objectives.
• Coordinate outreach to IHLs to recruit student leaders passionate about social impact.
• Design and deliver leadership development modules, immersion experiences, and mentorship activities.
• Facilitate interactions between student leaders and union representatives for cross‑sector learning.
• Assist in scholarship management including application, selection, and renewal processes.
