is seeking an experienced Structural Steel Supervisor to lead fabrication, installation, and erection activities on Singapore project sites, ensuring safety, quality, and compliance with regulations while managing teams and subcontractors effectively. The role requires hands-on supervision of on-site activities, strong drawing interpretation, and a solid track record in structural steel operations within Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in civil/structural/mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• BCA CoreTrade certification for Structural Steel Works.
• BCSS and MWAH lifting certifications.
• Reading and interpreting complex structural drawings and fabrications.
• Experience with welding, non-shrink grouting, and heavy lifting operations.
• Strong leadership and English communication; problem-solving in teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site structural steel activities, lifting beams, columns, and trusses with safe at-height practices.
• Lead subcontractors and site workers, delegate tasks, set daily targets, monitor material usage.
• Coordinate with Project Managers/Engineers/QA-QC to resolve site clashes using drawings and method statements.
• Conduct toolbox talks and safety briefings; manage permits-to-work and fall-protection measures per WSH.
• Track progress via look-ahead planning; manage inventory to minimize waste; coordinate deliveries.
• Oversee QA by supervising grouting, structural repairs, and maintain inspection records.
