Job summary

WWM Design in Singapore is seeking a Senior/Lead Structural Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis. You will lead multidisciplinary design efforts from concept through detailed design on complex projects, shaping engineering systems that integrate with architectural work.

You will apply advanced analysis using FEA tools, develop parametric models with Python/Grasshopper, and mentor junior engineers while ensuring compliance with local codes and international standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognised institution.
• 6–7 years of professional experience in structural design.
• Familiarity with Singapore authority requirements (LTA, PUB, BCA, NParks).
• Experience with BIM workflows and coordination in Revit is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring timely, high-quality delivery of design projects.
• Provide advanced engineering expertise in design, analysis, and problem solving for complex projects.
• Develop and implement parametric models and algorithms using coding skills (Python, Grasshopper, Dynamo).
• Perform and validate detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to assess structural performance.
• Prepare and review construction drawings, specifications, and calculations for authorities or international projects.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations and standards.
• Review and approve designs, calculations, and technical specifications.
• Mentor junior engineers and staff; manage projects under senior direction.
