Job summary

Woh Hup Group seeks a Design Engineer to support the Senior Design Engineer with structural analysis and design compliance for projects in Singapore.

Your role includes performing structure analysis, developing drawings, and ensuring adherence to engineering standards and related regulations. You will liaise with architects and other teams to translate design intent into deliverables while contributing to safety and cost estimation tasks.

Qualifications

Degree in Civil Engineering from accredited universities.
Proficient in structure analysis and design software (ORION, SAP2000, SAFE, PROKON, PLAXIS).
Autocad and BIM software preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct structure analysis.
Provide technical engineering information to ensure compliance with all engineering standards, codes, specifications and design instructions.
Develop architectural/engineering drawings and ensure specifications/regulations are followed.
Liaise with architects, engineers and other departments to ensure that the design intentions are met.
Prepare bills of quantities and cost estimation whenever required.
Identify potential discrepancies that affect the design and recommend solutions to relevant team/department.
Adhere to safety practices in the workplace.
