Job summary

WECRUIT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Engineering Lead to guide and manage multidisciplinary teams on large-scale construction projects, coordinating civil, structural, architectural and MEP works.

You will review drawings, MOS and submissions for compliance, and lead design coordination with clients and consultants. You will also manage RFIs, design changes, shop drawings and material approvals, and mentor engineers while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 12–15 years construction experience with at least 5 years in senior/managerial role.
• Proven experience leading multidisciplinary teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, design coordination and BIM.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all engineering, technical and design coordination activities for construction projects.
• Review construction drawings, specifications, method statements (MOS) and technical submissions to ensure compliance and constructability.
• Coordinate Civil, Structural, Architectural and MEP works with clients, consultants and site teams.
• Manage RFIs, technical clarifications, design changes, shop drawings and material approvals.
• Lead engineering meetings and use BIM tools to identify design clashes and minimise rework.
• Support construction planning, procurement evaluations, quality inspections and statutory compliance.
• Identify and manage technical risks, changes and potential impacts on project cost and schedule.
• Guide and mentor engineering staff, allocate responsibilities and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Support as-built documentation, project handover and compliance with safety and quality standards.
