Job summary

BAH Partners Limited is expanding its Singapore engineering team to hire a hands-on Lead Software Engineer. You will drive the design and development of next-generation trade processing and operations platforms with approximately 95% greenfield development.

This is a highly technical leadership role offering ownership of architecture, system design and delivery, and collaboration with global teams across trading and operations.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering background with expertise in Java, C#, Rust, C++ or Python.
• Proven track record designing and building complex applications or platforms, ideally greenfield.
• Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Solace, AWS SNS/SQS).
• Hands-on cloud experience, preferably AWS; Azure or GCP also considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of distributed, high-performance applications for trade processing and post-trade workflows.
• Architect and build scalable, cloud-native platforms using event-driven architecture.
• Provide hands-on technical leadership to a small engineering team, guiding architecture and coding standards.
• Develop services and enhance platforms using Rust, C#/.NET, AWS and Kafka.
• Collaborate with global teams to deliver business-critical technology solutions.
• Own major greenfield projects from architecture through production delivery.
