Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Math (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of hands-on software engineering with design, development, testing, and operations.
• Proficient in SDLC; agile practices including CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Advanced in one or more languages: Python, TypeScript, Scala, C++, C#; willingness to master Python.
• Experience designing large-scale systems with complex data models and integrations.
• Proven leadership in code reviews, testing, release discipline, and operational excellence.
• Experience leading AI-assisted development tools with guardrails and quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery for Singapore Energy tech: end-to-end execution from requirements through production support.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code to raise quality standards.
• Build inventory & logistics capabilities on the Athena platform to support energy activities.
• Engineer for reliability and performance with observable services and safe rollouts/rollbacks.
• Raise team standards across testing strategy, CI/CD discipline, docs/runbooks, and incident practices.
• Mentor engineers, shape hiring/onboarding as the local team evolves.
• Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams to assess architecture and integration viability.
