Job summary

As a core technical contributor, you will drive secure code, AI-assisted development, and cross-functional collaboration in an agile environment.

You will play a key role in delivering high-quality software while shaping best practices in security, resiliency, and SDLC compliance across the team.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 5+ years of experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, and AWS.
• Experience leading the use of AI-assisted development tools with attention to correctness, performance, and security.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI in engineering workflows.
• Proficient in all aspects of the Software Development Life Cycle.
• Advanced understanding of CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
• Deep knowledge of the financial services industry IT systems.
• Practical cloud-native experience.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and troubleshooting with the ability to solve complex problems.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews/debugs code written by others.
• Drives adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operations, with secure validation standards.
• Applies SDLC tools to improve automation and value realization.
• Identifies opportunities to automate recurring issues to improve stability of software applications.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and teams to assess architectural designs and technology applicability.
