Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering fundamentals across the SDLC.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, and JavaScript/TypeScript; React experience preferred.
• Experience in large‑scale/enterprise environments with data integrations.
• Familiarity with JUnit, Maven, Spring frameworks, and Hibernate.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, and debugging under pressure.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across functions.
• Experience delivering in Agile environments with multiple priorities.
• Operational excellence mindset: incident leadership and postmortems.
• Knowledge of equity derivatives products and related workflows.

Responsibilities

• Own production outcomes for critical Equity Derivatives workflows: monitoring, incident triage, stakeholder communication, mitigation, and root cause follow‑through.
• Execute software solutions including design, development, testing, release, and technical troubleshooting.
• Create secure, high‑quality production code and maintain services and integrations.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications, ensuring alignment with constraints.
• Collaborate with front office, operations, and technology teams to gather requirements and define acceptance criteria.
• Drive UAT planning and execution for changes impacting pricing, booking, and risk: test strategy and evidence collection.
• Maintain strong release discipline: regression, rollback planning, post‑deployment verification, observability.
• Gather and synthesize data/telemetry to develop reporting and metrics for stability and delivery.
• Identify hidden failure patterns in production and drive improvements in architecture and readiness.
• Provide ongoing support and enablement to stakeholders on new product features and workflows.
• Leverage firm‑approved AI tools to improve testing, documentation, and incident triage while adhering to data governance.
