Job summary

Pand.ai is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the development of AI products and enhancements across chatbots, live chat, and admin portals. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will guide a team, design scalable systems, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires strong Python, cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud), and Kubernetes, with at least 5 years in relevant roles.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
Strong command of Python.
Min. 5 years of relevant work experience.
Experience with developing and maintaining cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Alibaba Cloud.
Experience with Kubernetes.
Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
Familiarity with fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and other DevOps practices.
Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

Responsibilities

Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code.
Develop and support software including applications, database integration, interfaces, and new functionality enhancements.
Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure project meets business objectives and compliance standards.
Support test and deployment of new products and features.
Participate in code reviews.
