Job summary

ScienTec Consulting Pte Ltd is seeking an AI Engineer to design, develop and maintain AI-powered applications and chatbot solutions using Python and modern AI technologies. You will build backend services, integrate LLMs, and deploy AI solutions in cloud environments while collaborating with product, engineering and business teams to translate requirements into practical AI offerings.

The role requires hands-on experience with chatbots, NLP, and API integration, with familiarity in

Qualifications

Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, AI, Data Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
Strong programming experience in Python.
Hands-on experience developing chatbots, conversational AI or GenAI applications.
Experience with LLMs, NLP, prompt engineering and AI APIs.
Familiarity with frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, FastAPI or Flask.
Knowledge of RAG, vector databases and embeddings will be advantageous.
Experience with AWS, Azure or GCP is preferred.
Good understanding of REST APIs, Git and software development practices.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain AI applications, chatbots and conversational AI solutions.
Build backend services and APIs using Python.
Integrate LLMs, NLP models and AI services into business applications.
Develop chatbot workflows, prompt logic and knowledge-based response systems.
Work with structured and unstructured data for AI model integration.
Implement RAG, embeddings and vector search where applicable.
Test, troubleshoot and improve chatbot accuracy, performance and reliability.
Deploy and maintain AI solutions in cloud environments.
Collaborate with product, engineering and business teams to translate requirements into AI solutions.
