Job summary

Pand.ai is seeking a senior software engineer to lead the development of AI products and enhancements across chatbots, live chat, and admin portals. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will guide a team, design scalable systems, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-quality software.

The role requires strong Python, cloud platform experience (AWS/Azure/Alibaba Cloud), and Kubernetes, with at least 5 years in relevant roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• Strong command of Python.
• Min. 5 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with developing and maintaining cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or Alibaba Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
• Familiarity with continuous integration, continuous delivery, and other DevOps practices.
• Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to multi-task, organize, and prioritize work.

About the job

We are currently looking for a senior software engineer to be based in our Kuala Lumpur office. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated, multi-tasker, and demonstrated team-player. You will be a lead developer responsible for the development of new software products and enhancements to existing products, including but not limited to: Classical Ai Chatbots, Gen-AI Chatbots, Live Chat, Voice AI, and Admin Portal. You should excel in working with large-scale applications and frameworks and have outstanding communication and leadership skills.
