Job summary

Talentvis Singapore Pte Ltd. invites an experienced Lead Software/Applications Engineer to provide technical leadership in developing, enhancing and supporting complex software applications.

You will guide implementation, promote secure practices and ensure performance, reliability and delivery targets are met. You will lead design reviews, champion CI/CD, GitOps and IaC, and mentor engineers while coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure solutions.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computing, CS, CE or related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, C++, Python or Node.js.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX or Windows, cloud-native apps and containers.
• Knowledge of CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing and security.

We are seeking a Lead Software/Applications Engineer to provide technical leadership in the development, enhancement and support of complex software applications. • Review application architecture, code quality and technical solutions.
• Guide the adoption of CI/CD, automation, GitOps and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Support cloud-native and containerised application deployments.
• Ensure security-by-design principles and appropriate testing and validation.
• Coordinate with project, infrastructure, integration and cybersecurity teams.
• Mentor engineers and maintain technical standards and documentation.

Requirements

• Degree in Computing, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related discipline.
• More than 10 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java, C++, Python, Node.js or other relevant technologies.
• Experience with Linux/UNIX or Windows, cloud-native applications and containerised environments.
• Good understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, automated testing and application security.
• Strong technical problem-solving, solution design and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in regulated, safety-critical or mission-critical systems is an advantage.
