TALENTSIS PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced software engineering leader to drive the full lifecycle of scalable applications. You will architect and deliver API-first microservices, leverage cloud platforms, and champion quality through reviews, testing, and TDD.

You will mentor engineers, manage technical risk, and collaborate with business stakeholders to align delivery with strategic goals. A strong background in security practices and modernisation projects is essential.

Competenze

• 5+ years of full-stack software engineering across architecture, development, testing, deployment and production support.
• Experience modernising legacy systems.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD and secure coding practices (OWASP).
• Experience in API design, microservices and distributed systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to explain trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical delivery across the full software development lifecycle, from discovery and architecture through development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Design and develop scalable applications using microservices, event-driven architecture, and API-first approaches.
• Drive quality engineering practices including code reviews, automated testing, TDD, refactoring, and technical debt management.
• Build and deploy production-grade applications using cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Define API contracts and integration patterns, and conduct POCs/spikes to validate technical solutions.
• Identify technical risks, evaluate trade-offs, and collaborate with engineering and business stakeholders to drive delivery.
• Implement monitoring and observability practices and contribute to continuous improvement.
• Coach and mentor engineers through pairing, workshops, technical reviews, and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of full-stack software engineering experience covering architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production operations.
• Experience working on both new applications and legacy system modernisation.
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, CI/CD, software development practices, and application security principles such as OWASP.
• Experience with API design, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts and trade-offs to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in technical leadership, mentoring, consulting, or engineering enablement is preferred.
