KCL CONSULTANTS PTE. LTD. seeks a Resident Engineer to supervise residential buildings in Singapore, ensuring site activities comply with regulations and client requirements. You will supervise contractor works on site and review drawings for potential issues.

The role demands 4+ years of relevant supervision experience and a valid RE certificate (IES/ACES). Strong communication and teamwork are essential for success in a collaborative project team.

Formación

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 4 years of experience supervising residential buildings.
• Resident Engineer Certificate (IES/ACES) is a must; candidates without RE need not apply.
• Conversant with statutory codes and requirements.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Understand project specifications, drawings and ensure site activities comply with regulations and client's requirements.
• Monitor site works to ensure method statements are followed.
• Supervise structural works and identify non-conformities in contractor's work.
• Ensure builder executes work per consultant's instructions.
• Check drawings for discrepancies and suggest solutions to prevent delays.
• Conduct quality inspections and QC of materials used on site.
• Maintain site inspection records, safety records and approved/as-built drawings.
• Update site records on progress, housekeeping and reporting.
• Verify contractors' progress payments and claims for work done and materials delivered on site.
• Witness all inspections, testing and commissioning sessions to verify compliance with designs.
