Opbrio Engineering Pte Ltd is seeking a Resident Engineer to oversee coordination among contractors and ensure compliance with drawings, safety standards, and regulatory requirements at construction sites in Singapore.

The role requires a Civil/Structural Engineering degree, valid RE accreditation from IES, and a minimum of 3 years supervising building projects. Preference for candidates with deep basement and HDB project experience.

Qualificações

• Recognized degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Valid RE accreditation certificate from IES.
• Minimum 3 years post-graduate supervision experience (entry level may apply).
• Strong knowledge of Building Contract Act and relevant regulations.
• Experience with deep basement construction and top-down methods.
• Experience with HDB projects is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate work among contractors.
• Review and agree on detailed work programs, time charts, and site plans.
• Verify drawings and instructions provided to contractors and ensure necessary authorizations.
• Monitor construction activities for safety compliance and maintain site safety.
• Identify and report faulty workmanship and defective materials.
• Verify structural layout, alignment and levels per contract drawings.
• Inspect slabs, beams and columns for reinforcement placement and design compliance.
