Job summary

HRNET VENTURES PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Singapore. You will provide engineering support throughout project execution and ensure works meet technical, quality and safety standards on-site.

You will work closely with project teams, consultants and contractors on large-scale construction projects, applying regulatory requirements and best-practice methods to drive safe, efficient progress.

Qualifications

• Registered Resident Engineer (RE) certificate in Singapore is mandatory.
• 3–5 years of relevant construction experience.
• Good knowledge of building regulations, safety requirements and construction practices.
• Strong communication, coordination and site management skills.
• Able to work independently on-site and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Review and ensure construction works comply with project specifications, approved drawings and applicable Building Control requirements.
• Oversee day-to-day construction activities and maintain accurate project documentation and records.
• Provide technical support to the Superintending Officer / Professional Engineer as required.
• Review contractors' temporary works to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor contractors' work procedures against method statements and WSH requirements.
• Conduct site inspections to verify completed works and identify defects.
• Coordinate with contractors, engineers and project stakeholders to ensure smooth progress.
