Job summary

CHINA HARBOUR (SINGAPORE) ENGINEERING COMPANY PTE. LTD. is seeking a site-focused professional to lead the CM/SM role on a major construction project.

You will guide your own team and subcontractors, ensuring work progresses on schedule, within budget, and in line with contract documents. You will plan, monitor, and drive progress while coordinating with the Employer, Superintending Officer, RSS Team, and partners to resolve on-site issues and ensure compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience with Main Contractor in the Construction industry.
• Experience in condominium or commercial building construction advantageous.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead a site works with own team and subcontractors.
• Manage, coordinate and lead a team of consortium partners to ensure progress.
• Ensure project completion within budget, schedule and contract conformance.
• Plan, monitor progress, allocate resources, and assist in cost control.
• Liaise with employer, authorities, and subcontractors to resolve site issues.
• Develop site safety plan with safety manager and ensure compliance.
• Prepare detailed project reports including schedules and deviations.
• Develop logistics to coordinate contractor work efficiently.
• Review trade contractor methods and buildability of documentation.
• Hold regular meetings with trade contractors to review drawings, lead times, and dates.
• Ensure adherence to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
