Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years in building construction with 5+ years in managing large projects.
• Proven track record delivering full lifecycle building projects.
• Strong knowledge of RC works, formwork, façade, MEP integration.
• Understanding of Singapore codes, BCA, WSH, and local standards.
• Experience managing large site teams (50+ workers) and subcontractors.
• Proficient reading drawings/specifications; familiar with Primavera P6/MS Project and BIM.
• BCA-RE or PE Board registration is advantageous.
• Strong leadership, problem solving, and communication under pressure.
• Class 3 Singapore Driving License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all on-site construction activities including RC works, architectural finishing, façade installation, and MEP coordination.
• Manage and coordinate construction teams, subcontractors, and specialist trades to ensure adherence to specifications and safety.
• Develop and implement construction methodologies, temporary works strategies, and site logistics plans.
• Conduct daily site inspections to monitor progress, quality, and compliance with drawings.
• Chair regular site coordination meetings with subcontractors and resolve technical issues.
• Ensure compliance with WSH regulations and implement safety management on site.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Design Manager, and QP/PE on technical matters and feasibility.
• Review and approve construction method statements, temporary works designs, and lifting plans.
• Monitor costs, manpower, material usage, and equipment utilization; report variances.
• Liaise with BCA, MOM, SCDF, NEA, PUB for inspections and permits.
• Manage handover including defects rectification, testing and commissioning, TOP/CSC preparation.
• Mentor site engineering staff and foster continuous improvement.
