Job summary

siong construction & engineering pte. ltd. in Singapore is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and high quality. You will lead a team of site engineers, supervisors and workers on site.

The role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and effective coordination with clients, consultants and subcontractors to ensure safety, compliance and successful project execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in construction, with at least 3 years in a senior supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction activities to meet project deadlines.
• Monitor project progress and adjust schedules and targets as required.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with specifications, codes, and standards.
• Oversee daily site operations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and resolve issues or conflicts.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders for smooth project execution.
• Provide technical support to site engineers and construction teams.
• Review construction drawings, plans and specifications.
• Ensure accurate implementation of construction designs and plans.
• Implement and monitor quality control procedures with regular inspections.
• Prepare and manage project budgets and monitor expenses.
• Report progress to senior management and ensure safety culture on site.
• Coordinate communication with clients, consultants and subcontractors.
