Job summary

DBS Bank Asia Hub in Singapore is seeking an AVP Software Engineer in Test to lead planning, design and execution of testing for Core Banking and integrations. You will implement AI-powered test case generation and automation frameworks, ensuring robust validation across APIs, UI, files and messaging flows.

The role requires 10+ years in software testing, strong Core Banking knowledge, and hands-on automation with Java, SQL and leading tools.

Qualifications

10+ years in software testing with leadership and automation
Strong understanding of Core Banking systems and data structures
Experience with AI-assisted testing and test data generation
Experience with API, UI, and mainframe-related testing
Proficiency in Java and SQL, and scripting
Familiarity with Jira or similar test-management tools
Knowledge of Agile SDLC and defect-management processes
Graduation degree or higher in Computer Science/IT/Engineering

Responsibilities

Lead planning, preparation and execution of testing activities for Core Banking solutions
Design, develop and maintain automated testing capabilities and data patterns
Coordinate testing across APIs, UI, file-based interfaces and messaging queues
Improve automation coverage and track progress with dashboards and metrics
Ensure timely completion of testing activities and quality of deliverables
