Job summary

sggovterp is seeking a seasoned professional to lead cost control and contract management across planning, design, construction and commissioning of major infrastructure programs. You will prepare budgets, cost plans and tender documentation, and support value engineering to meet project objectives.

You will manage post-contract administration, monitor cost performance, handle variations and claims, and engage stakeholders across diverse backgrounds.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years post-graduate experience in construction.
• Experience in lifecycle of infrastructure projects.
• Public sector gateway experience is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal English; stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare cost estimates, budgets and cost plans.
• Develop value engineering to optimise project costs.
• Prepare tender documents, evaluate tenders and award.
• Conduct post-contract management and administration.
• Monitor cost performance and manage variances and impacts.
• Implement cost control, variations and claims strategies.
• Manage contractual claims and dispute resolution.
