Job summary

West Pharmaceutical Services in Singapore is seeking a Senior Production Planner to develop and execute mid-term supply planning, ensuring alignment between demand, inventory, and capacity. You will coordinate production schedules, optimize machine utilization, and collaborate with manufacturing, supply chain, and customers to meet order requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply chain, Operations Management or similar discipline.
• Strong Excel and report development skills.
• MRP-SAP PP module planning experience, master production schedules, rough cut capacity plans, and resource plans.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate production planning to support customer orders and safety stock goals.
• Maximize machine capacity to meet production output and material availability.
• Collaborate with customers, supply chain and manufacturing to manage orders inside/outside standard lead times.
• Communicate prioritization requests and track actions to completion.
• Identify excess/expired inventory with commercial and operations teams.
• Analyze capacity constraints and support engineering projects.
• Clear MRB materials with production teams and minimize write-offs.
• Monitor capacity, labor, and changeover requirements to create feasible schedules.
• Track KPIs: schedule attainment, on-time delivery, inventory, backlog.
• Maintain master data accuracy and KPI dashboards.
• Lead planning meetings with stakeholders and drive recovery actions.
• Use ERP/MRP to generate planned and production orders.
• Support quality investigations and process improvements.
• Attend monthly supply chain meetings and drive KPI actions.
• Mentor junior planners.
