Job summary

MKS Instruments is seeking a Senior Production Planner to join our Singapore operations. You will collaborate across Sales Ops, Procurement, Production, Warehouse and Engineering to optimize schedules, ensure material availability, and drive on-time shipments.

The rolerequires five+ years in production planning within manufacturing and strong SAP, Excel, and PowerPoint skills. You will monitor performance, manage inventory health, coordinate changes and NPIs, and deliver daily/weekly status

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in SCM/Operations/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of production planning experience in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of production planning, manufacturing processes, inventory management, SAP systems, and material planning.
• Experience collaborating with Master Scheduling, Procurement, and Production teams to execute plans.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills with data analysis and reporting abilities.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Sales Ops, Procurement, Production, Warehouse, and Engineering to optimize production schedules, capacity and ensure material availability to meet shipment commitment.
• Monitor production performance, identify risks such as material shortages or capacity constraints, and drive timely recovery actions.
• Manage inventory to maintain optimal stock levels while supporting production and customer delivery requirements.
• Coordinate engineering changes, New Product Introduction (NPI), and schedule adjustments to minimize operational impact.
• Prepare and communicate daily production status updates and weekly production and inventory reports to management.
• Analyze planning and inventory data to improve production efficiency, delivery performance, and inventory health.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support cross-functional projects to enhance planning processes.
