Seatrium Limited is seeking a seasoned HSE engineer to design fire and safety systems for offshore modules and platforms. You will develop design safety philosophies, engage in risk analyses, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to resolve technical safety issues.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and at least 6 years of HSE experience in oil & gas, with offshore exposure. Proficiency with PIPENET Vision, Flaresim, and related tools is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university.
• Minimum of 6 years of HSE engineering experience in the oil and gas industry, specializing in process safety or technical safety, with offshore project experience.
• Knowledge of oil and gas process facilities and local/international process safety codes and standards (NFPA, EI15) and regulatory/marine codes (MODU, SOLAS, DNV, ABS, Lloyd's Register).
• Keeps abreast of industry trends and regulatory requirements (IMO, NORSOK, API, UK HSE, USCG).
• Experience with PIPENET Vision, Flaresim; understanding of DNV PHAST or similar software preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Designs fire and safety systems for offshore oil and gas modules and platforms, including safety philosophies and HSE plans.
• Prepares and reviews engineering design documents, reports, and specifications for fire and safety systems.
• Designs active and passive fire protection systems and prepares hazard/classification documentation and life-saving layouts.
• Coordinates risk analyses and interfaces with other disciplines, leading technical safety decisions.
• Participates in hazard analyses (HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, FMEA, SIMOPS) and ensures timely close-out of actions.
• Reviews third-party safety studies (FERA, dispersion analyses, EERA, ESSA, dropped object studies, QRA).
• Evaluates Safety Critical Elements performance standards, RAM analyses, and fire/gas mapping.
• Supports procurement activities and acts as package engineer for safety equipment when required.
• Provides health/environmental inputs including health risk assessments and environmental impact assessments.
