Job summary

Seatrium Limited is seeking a Regulatory and Compliance Leader for Offshore Wind and Offshore Substation projects. You will act as the primary contact for regulatory matters and coordinate with regulators, classification societies, and external consultants to ensure timely approvals and compliant design.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in electrical/marine engineering or environmental science, 5–7 years in regulatory affairs, and strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Marine Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in regulatory affairs and compliance in offshore industry.
• In-depth knowledge of international and local regulations applicable to offshore wind engineering and substation design.
• Strong understanding of risk assessment and management principles.
• Experience in preparing and submitting regulatory compliance documents and permit applications.
• Familiarity with technical aspects of offshore wind and Offshore substations, including high voltage systems, grid connection requirements, and marine engineering considerations.
• Proven experience in leading teams, mentoring, and guiding junior engineers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory compliance and safety programs for offshore wind/substation projects.
• Develop regulatory plans, policies, and procedures; stay updated on regulations.
• Coordinate with regulators, classification societies, and external consultants.
• Review designs and documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Provide training and career development for the compliance team.
• Collaborate with engineering disciplines to integrate compliance early in design.
• Prepare regular compliance reports for Project Engineering Manager.
• Assist with permit applications, safety cases, and EIAs when required.
