Job summary

J.P. Morgan is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to drive design, build, and optimization of global infrastructure platforms within the Network Services team.

You will mentor engineers, shape technical strategy, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver highly available and secure systems. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, cybersecurity, data science, or related discipline.
• Formal trainingen or certification on infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP and networking services.
• Deep knowledge of networking and telecommunications technologies (Layers 0-3) including dark fiber, DWDM, Ethernet, IP-VPN, DIA, broadband, cellular and satellite connectivity.
• Demonstrated expertise in the Asia-Pacific telecom connectivity market including regional carrier ecosystems and offerings.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across business and technical domains.
• Strong organizational and time management skills across geographies.
• Uses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities to accelerate infrastructure analysis and design documentation.
• AI-assisted practices to identify recurring issues and ensure resiliency and security.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements capture with stakeholders; translate needs into defined solution requirements.
• Produce end-to-end connectivity designs and documentation.
• Own tender and bid lifecycle for telecom connectivity solutions.
• Embed resilience and operational risk controls into all designs.
• Lead design reviews and governance; manage design exceptions.
• Design and implement scalable, resilient infrastructure architectures.
• Collaborate with providers and internal teams across lifecycle.
• Manage supplier relationships and governance, drive service improvement.
• Support regional/global network strategy and mentor junior engineers.
• Leverage AI capabilities to accelerate analysis and ensure security.
