gaia chinese culinary pte. ltd. in Singapore seeks a Senior Bartender to lead bar operations at a fine dining Chinese restaurant, overseeing daily tasks, staff training, beverage quality, and guest experiences through expert mixology.

Reporting to the Wine Sommelier / Restaurant Manager, you will craft cocktails, maintain high standards, manage inventory, and ensure sanitation and safety, while engaging guests with personalized recommendations.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of relevant experience in bar operations or mixology.
• Creativity and independence in developing bar drink offerings.
• Extensive knowledge of drink mixing, garnishing, serving techniques.
• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily bar operations including opening, closing, and maintaining service standards during shifts.
• Train and guide team members to ensure consistent beverage preparation and service quality.
• Develop, implement, and improve bar SOPs and service standards continuously.
• Prepare operational reports and escalate inventory variances, wastage, and operational issues to management.
• Apply advanced mixology skills to create and recommend cocktails that meet high standards of taste and presentation.
• Consistently maintain high standards in beverage preparation, presentation, and taste.
• Provide exceptional service by preparing and serving drinks that enhance customer satisfaction.
• Engage guests to understand preferences and offer tailored beverage recommendations.
• Demonstrate thorough knowledge of the beverage menu and products to support excellent service.
• Handle transactions accurately and maintain an inviting bar environment to improve guest experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe bar area in compliance with sanitation, hygiene, and workplace safety standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
