Job summary

JDA WMS Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to deliver high-quality cost management services for building and infrastructure projects in Singapore. The role requires deep MEP cost knowledge and a strong client-facing approach, leveraging your expertise as an MEP cost consultant.

You will prepare estimates, manage tenders, and administer contracts from concept to post-contract administration, mentoring junior team members as you contribute to best practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 6–12 years of progressive experience in cost management within construction.
• Demonstrable experience as an MEP cost consultant with strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and plumbing costs.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and Bills of Quantities across all project stages.
• Lead value engineering to identify cost efficiencies without design compromise.
• Manage full tendering process: documents, evaluation and recommendations.
• Administer contracts and advise clients on obligations.
• Assess, negotiate and manage change orders with documentation.
• Drive final account close-out and prepare cost reports for clients.
• Provide MEP cost consultancy guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
