Job summary

Dyson is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer at its Singapore Advanced Manufacturing site. You will drive end-to-end maintenance and equipment reliability strategies across multiple production lines, collaborating with manufacturing, engineering, quality, EHS, suppliers and internal teams to improve uptime and reliability.

You will own preventive and predictive maintenance programs, lead root-cause analysis for major breakdowns, and develop standardized maintenance procedures while coaching

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics engineering.
• Experience in maintenance or equipment engineering in an advanced manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to reduce downtime and improve MTTR.
• Experience with preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment reliability performance across multiple lines.
• Establish preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks across SAM.
• Own complex technical escalations and root cause analysis for major breakdowns.
• Develop and standardise maintenance procedures and documentation.
• Coach and train engineers and technicians to build capability.
• Lead equipment readiness for new equipment introduction and ramp-up.
• Manage maintenance costs, spares strategy, vendor performance, and service contracts.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
• Ensure compliance with EHS and Dyson standards.
