Job summary

Dyson Institute in Singapore is seeking a Lead Maintenance Engineer to drive end-to-end maintenance and equipment reliability across SAM. You will lead site-level maintenance systems, improve uptime, reduce repeat failures, and strengthen standards while building long-term technical capability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in maintenance or equipment engineering in advanced manufacturing.
• Strong problem-solving and technical leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead equipment reliability across multiple lines and improve OEE, MTBF, MTTR and yield.
• Develop and standardise preventive and predictive maintenance frameworks.
• Own complex technical escalations and perform root-cause analysis.
• Create maintenance procedures, troubleshooting guides and engineering docs.
• Coach engineers and technicians; build team capability.
• Support equipment readiness for new equipment introductions and ramp-up.
• Manage maintenance costs, spares strategy, and service contracts.
• Drive Lean, TPM, Six Sigma for downtime reduction and productivity.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, regulatory and Dyson standards.
