Job summary

Michael Page International Singapore is assisting a major engineering and construction organisation in hiring a Legal Counsel to lead regional legal support for infrastructure projects. Reporting to senior management, you will advise on commercial, contractual and corporate matters, draft and negotiate contracts, and manage risk and governance across EPC and infrastructure programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of post-qualification legal experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction and engineering-related contracts.
• Proven experience supporting EPC, infrastructure or large-scale projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide practical legal advice on commercial, contractual and corporate matters.
• Review, draft and negotiate a wide range of agreements and project contracts.
• Support contract administration, dispute avoidance and claims management.
• Advise on legal risk, compliance and contractual obligations across projects.
• Assist with corporate governance, including entity establishment and restructuring.
• Manage relationships with external law firms and specialist advisers.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to strengthen legal processes and risk management.
