Job summary

Our client, a prominent conglomerate, seeks a mid-level Legal Counsel to support large-scale infrastructure and development projects in Singapore. You will work closely with senior stakeholders on commercial agreements, procurement and contract delivery.

The ideal candidate is a Singapore-qualified lawyer with at least 5 PQE, experienced in commercial contracts, projects, infrastructure, procurement or dispute resolution, and skilled in drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management in a

Qualifications

5+ PQE Singapore-qualified lawyer with at least 5 years post-qualification experience.
Experience in commercial contracts, projects, infrastructure, construction, procurement and/or dispute resolution preferred.
Strong drafting, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills with commercial judgment.
Pragmatic, solutions-focused and able to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Provide legal support across the full lifecycle of major infrastructure and development projects, including procurement, tenders, contract negotiation, project delivery and contract administration.
Draft and negotiate construction, consultancy, maintenance and other commercial agreements; advise on contractual risks, claims, variations and delays.
Support management of disputes through negotiation, mediation, litigation or arbitration; partner with internal stakeholders and external counsel.
Contribute to development of legal templates, guidance and best practices.
