Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to support Construction & Data Centre Infrastructure in Singapore. You will provide strategic legal guidance across large-scale projects, draft and negotiate complex contracts, and advise on procurement structures and risk allocation.

You will collaborate with engineering, operations and finance teams, manage external advisers, and ensure regulatory compliance and governance across multiple projects in a dynamic, mission-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer admitted in a recognised common law jurisdiction.
• Over 10 years post-qualification experience in construction, infrastructure or project development.
• Strong background in EPC/EPCM, design-build and complex procurement models.
• Proven track record with major infrastructure or mission-critical facility developments.
• Excellent contract drafting, negotiation and commercial advisory skills.
• Experience managing legal risk across multiple projects and stakeholder groups.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Commercially minded with strong problem-solving and stakeholder management.
• Prior in-house or advisory experience with infrastructure, technology, telecommunications or digital infrastructure clients is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice across construction, procurement and project delivery activities for large-scale infrastructure developments.
• Draft, review and negotiate construction, engineering, procurement and commercial agreements.
• Advise on contract strategy, procurement structures and commercial risk allocation.
• Support management of contractor, supplier and multi-package delivery arrangements.
• Collaborate with engineering, construction, operations, procurement and finance stakeholders.
• Advise on regulatory, compliance, health & safety and project governance matters.
• Manage external legal advisors and develop contracting frameworks, templates and internal policies.
