Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd seeks a qualified Legal Counsel to support corporate, commercial and construction matters. You will review, draft and negotiate commercial and EPC contracts, and coordinate with external counsel as needed.

You will advise on subsidiaries and project offices, liaise with internal teams to resolve issues, and help manage claims and contract administration. Willingness to travel and a Law degree with PQE are required.

Qualifications

Degree in Law with relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in construction law, particularly in reviewing, negotiating and finalising construction contracts.
Familiarity with EPC contracts is highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

Provide legal advice to business units on corporate, commercial, contractual and legal matters.
Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements and construction contracts.
Support contract administration, commercial matters and claims management for engineering and construction projects.
Advise on the establishment, restructuring and closure of subsidiaries, branches, project offices and associated entities.
Liaise with external legal counsel and consultants, monitoring their work and progress.
Work closely with internal departments to address legal and contractual issues.
Perform other legal duties as assigned.
