Eurofins Mechem is seeking an experienced Laboratory Manager to lead environmental chemistry operations in Singapore. You will ensure compliance with SAC-SINGLAS and ISO/IEC 17025, review methods, and oversee daily lab activities, staffing and quality control.

You will drive strategic improvements, mentor staff, and liaise with clients to discuss results and provide technical support, ensuring safety and excellence across all workflows.

Competenze

• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Process Technology, Chemical Engineering or Science with at least 8 years of lab experience.
• Experienced with method-related tasks.
• SAC SINGLAS signatory and knowledge of SAC-SINGLAS/ISO/IEC 17025 requirements, quality systems and equipment management.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Audits and CAPA management experience.
• Interacts with operations, science staff and management.
• Ability to multitask.
• Excellent knowledge of laboratory health and safety protocols.

Mansioni

• Ensure compliance with SAC-SINGLAS, ISO/IEC 17025, quality standards and EHS regulations.
• Support audits, CAPA implementation and continuous quality improvement.
• Review SOPs, test methods and lab documentation.
• Manage daily operations to ensure timely sample processing and accurate testing.
• Supervise testing activities, equipment scheduling and housekeeping.
• Coordinate PT, method verification and QC activities.
• Maintain calibrations, servicing and troubleshooting of instruments.
• Lead strategic planning to drive operational excellence and long-term success.
• Train, evaluate and manage staff performance; plan staffing to meet demand.
• Engage with clients and internal teams to discuss results and provide technical support.
