Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Lead eSoftware Engineer within the Electronic Trading Technology team. You will be a core contributor, building and delivering trusted market-leading technology across multiple business functions with a focus on security, stability, and scalability.

You will lead development of the Asian markets benchmark, contribute to pre- and post-trade analytics, and drive architectural evaluations with vendors and internal teams while fostering innovation and best practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline.
• 5+ years of software engineering experience with mastery in Java.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing and operational stability.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies including CI/CD, Application resiliency and security.
• Experience with cloud, AI/ML, and financial services IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains a benchmark algorithmic trading platform for Asian markets.
• Contributes to the front office trading team for pre- and post-trade analysis and strategy design.
• Designs and builds algorithmic trading strategies and platform for multiple business silos with high resiliency.
• Executes creative software solutions and technical troubleshooting beyond routine approaches.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and tech applicability.
• Leads communities of practice to promote new technologies and diverse team culture.
