Job summary

JPMorgan Chase in Singapore seeks a Lead eSoftware Engineer to join the Electronic Trading Technology team. You will be a core contributor delivering scalable, secure market-leading technology for the bank's electronic trading platforms.

You will own design and delivery of algorithmic trading strategies, liquidity crossing, and reliability improvements, collaborating across teams to ensure robust operations and timely go-lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or other related disciplines.
• 5 or more years of software engineering experience; mastery in Java.
• Hands-on experience in electronic trading system, site reliability engineering, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implement, support and maintain a growing benchmark algorithmic trading platform & liquidity seeking and crossing platform of Asian markets.
• Contributes to front office trading team for pre and post-trade analysis and design of algorithmic trading strategies & smart order routing.
• Collaborates with teams to design and build algorithmic trading strategies / trading platform with robust resiliency.
• Promotes reliability in SDLC with coding, testing, and deployment best practices.
• Collaborates with business to understand client trading requirements and translate to algo trading strategies.
• Leads incident response efforts, conducts root cause analysis, and prevents recurrence.
