Job summary

JPMorgan Chase is seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to join the CRB Execution Platform team. You will contribute as a core technical member, delivering secure, scalable systems for the Central Risk Book desk and collaborating with quants, traders, and technologists.

Your responsibilities include designing and building the execution and liquidity provision platform, implementing trading signals, and enhancing performance and resilience in a global, real-time environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or related fields.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience in low-latency, real-time trading systems.
• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
• Experience with high-throughput messaging APIs and middleware.
• Experience with algorithmic trading and systematic trading.
• Proficiency in Java; Python experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop execution and systematic liquidity provision platform.
• Support desk on trading signals and liquidity provision strategies.
• Develop scalable real-time processing solutions using agile methodologies.
• Maintain and support legacy systems.
• Identify opportunities to automate recurring issues for stability.
• Develop secure, high-quality production code and review others' code.
• Drive architectural decisions for platform design and operations.
