Job summary

Mercure Singapore Bugis is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Supervisor to lead and coordinate a busy team responsible for guest rooms and public areas. The role focuses on maintaining high cleanliness standards and a seamless guest experience.

You will supervise attendants, train staff, manage inventories, and collaborate with other departments to uphold brand quality. Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays is required to support our hotel operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficient in the use of housekeeping equipment and cleaning products.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate the housekeeping team.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the work of the housekeeping team, including room attendants and public area cleaners
• Inspect guest rooms and public areas to ensure they meet quality standards
• Identify and address any cleaning issues or concerns on time
• Manage the inventory of housekeeping supplies and equipment
• Provide training and guidance to the housekeeping team to improve performance and quality
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Implement and maintain housekeeping procedures and policies
• Assist in the recruitment, scheduling, and performance management of the housekeeping team
