Job summary

Dorsett Changi City Singapore is seeking a detail-oriented Public Area Supervisor to lead our Housekeeping team. You will supervise daily tasks, inspect lobbies, corridors, restrooms, and public zones to ensure top cleanliness and presentation.

This role requires hands-on leadership, training staff on SOPs, safety protocols, and equipment handling. Flexibility with shifts and strong communication are essential to maintain exceptional standards across all public spaces.

Qualifications

• Experience in hotel housekeeping or facilities management is required.
• Strong leadership and staff development abilities.
• Attention to detail with high presentation standards.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Plan, assign, and direct daily tasks of Public Area Attendants.
• Conduct daily inspections of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and public zones.
• Ensure cleaning schedules and deep-clean activities are performed.
• Log maintenance issues and follow up with Engineering as needed.
• Train and mentor staff on SOPs, chemical handling, and equipment operation.
• Oversee inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; manage safety compliance.
