Job summary

EPAM Singapore is seeking a Lead Full Stack Developer (Java, React) to build production‑ready services on Java 21, Spring Boot, and React. You will guide engineering standards across the team, perform hands‑on delivery, and own architecture from design through release.

The role emphasizes mentoring engineers, strong code reviews, and shaping practical architecture while partnering with DevOps/SRE to deliver via CI/CD to OpenShift.

Qualifications

• Java hands‑on development with Java 21
• Spring Boot experience building microservices and REST APIs
• React hands‑on experience building front‑end apps
• State management with Redux or similar
• Relational databases with SQL; Hibernate/Spring Data JPA
• Container platforms: OpenShift or Kubernetes
• CI/CD tooling: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins
• Technical leadership guiding delivery in Agile teams

Responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end design and delivery of full‑stack apps
• Build and review Java 21 and Spring Boot microservices and REST APIs
• Build and review React UIs with scalable component architecture
• Define API contracts and data flows between front‑end and back‑end
• Set coding standards, branching strategies and code quality controls
• Drive automated testing across unit, integration and end‑to‑end layers
• Partner with DevOps/SRE to deliver via CI/CD to OpenShift
• Mentor engineers through design and code reviews
