Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation in Singapore seeks an Equipment Maintenance Engineer to own and improve quality, uptime and cost KPIs across critical semiconductor equipment. You will sustain KPI performance, optimize preventive maintenance procedures, and coordinate with process and manufacturing engineers to meet module objectives.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics, at least 4 years in Metal Etch/AMAT DPSM/ASHER/DSTI equipment, strong

Qualifications

Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics / Materials / Material Sciences Engineering.
Min 4 years of relevant work experience in Metal Etch, AMAT DPSM, ASHER, DSTI Equipment in the semiconductor industry.
Excellent team player with good interpersonal, communication and written skills.
Strong logical thinking capability and good analytical skill.
High level of integrity with strong leadership attributes to lead and coach a team.
Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

Own, maintain and improve indices: Quality, Uptime and Cost.
Sustain equipment KPI and drive continuous improvements for performance.
Monitor and control equipment performance indices; optimize PM procedures.
Coordinate with process and manufacturing engineers to meet module objectives.
Manage logistics for parts to prevent uptime losses during failures.
Control expenditure for equipment maintenance without compromising quality.
Continuous improvement of equipment KPI in quality, uptime and cost.
Plan and implement an effective Preventive Maintenance program.
Coach and mentor subordinates; provide feedback on performance.
Document Corrective Action and Best Known Methods; share learnings.
Participate in CIP programs to optimize equipment utilization and maintenance cost.
Become the technical expert for the machine specialization.
Utilize SPACE to monitor SPC charts; JMP to analyze experiments; use measurement tools effectively.
Understand FMEA and generate FMEA analysis for new tools; identify top risk factors.
Create CAMSTAR/PROMIS (MES) DC OP and SPC charts.
Coordinate new equipment start-up from facilities hookup to production acceptance.
Promote wafer scrap reduction mindset.
Self-audit and update specifications to meet TS16949 Quality standards.
