Job summary

Vanguard International Semiconductor Corporation is seeking an Electronics/Mechatronics Engineer to own and improve critical equipment indices such as Quality, Uptime and Cost in a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment in Singapore.

You will coordinate with process and manufacturing engineers to ensure efficient execution, manage spare parts logistics and control maintenance expenditure while driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical / Electronics / Mechanical / Mechatronics / Microelectronics Engineering.
• Strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Proven ownership and accountability in project work.
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Own, maintain and improve Quality, Uptime and Cost indices.
• Sustain equipment KPI and lead continuous improvements to performance.
• Coordinate with process and manufacturing Engineers for efficient work.
• Manage logistics for parts to prevent uptime losses on failures.
• Plan and implement preventive maintenance programs on equipment.
• Coach and mentor subordinates and provide performance feedback.
• Document corrective actions and best practices for ROI and learning.
• Participate in CIP programs to optimize equipment utilization and cost of maintenance.
